This keto raspberry smoothie is what I blend when I want something cold and fruity without the sugar load of a smoothie-bar drink. It takes about five minutes and one blender.

I keep a bag of frozen raspberries in the freezer for exactly this, so it’s never a special shopping trip. It works as a quick breakfast on a rushed morning or an afternoon snack, and any leftovers go back in the freezer for later.

Chef Jenn’s Take on Keto Raspberry Smoothie
Most smoothies get their body from banana, juice, or a lot of added sweetener, and none of those fit a low-carb day. When you take them out, the result is usually thin, icy, and a little sad.
Greek yogurt is what gives this smoothie body without any banana. Frozen raspberries do the rest, since they chill and thicken the blend at the same time, so ice is a bonus rather than a requirement.

What You’ll Love About Keto Raspberry Smoothie
- It’s thick and creamy like a real smoothie, not a watery berry drink you have to talk yourself into.
- It takes five minutes, which matters on the mornings you’d otherwise skip breakfast or grab something with a lot more sugar.
- Leftovers freeze into a cold treat, so nothing gets wasted if you make too much.
Ingredients
- Raspberries – Frozen gives the thickest smoothie. Fresh works, but it comes out thinner.
- Plain Greek yogurt – Read the label. The ingredients should be milk and cultures, with no added sugar. Full-fat makes it richer.
- Almond milk
- Ice cubes – Optional, and only if your blender can handle them.
- White sugar alternative – Optional; just a pinch if you like your smoothies sweeter.
How To Make Keto Raspberry Smoothie
Scroll down for the full recipe card with exact measurements and printable instructions.
Add the raspberries, Greek yogurt, and almond milk to a blender.
Pulse until completely smooth, scraping down the sides once if the yogurt clings.
If you want it colder and thicker, add a few ice cubes and blend again. Taste it before adding any sweetener, because ripe raspberries often need none.
Pour into glasses and serve right away.
Make It A Meal
A smoothie alone won’t carry everyone through a full morning, so I pair it with something savory. My Egg Bites with Spinach & Cheese or Sausage n’ Egg Cups both make ahead and reheat fast. If you’d rather have berries as dessert, Raspberry Cheesecake Bites use the same fruit in a different form.
Storage
Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 to 2 days, and stir or shake before drinking since it separates. It also freezes well, either in a container to re-blend later or in popsicle molds for a frozen treat.
Frequently asked questions
Not as written, because Greek yogurt is dairy. For a dairy-free version, use an unsweetened, plain dairy-free yogurt instead and check the label for added sugar.
Yes, one scoop blends in fine. Check the label first, since some powders add carbs, and expect the smoothie to thicken, so add a splash more almond milk if needed.
Blackberries and strawberries are the closest swaps. Blueberries carry more carbs than raspberries, so recheck the net carbs in the recipe card if you add them.

Notes
Recipe Card Tips
- Keep frozen raspberries on hand. They make the smoothie thicker than fresh ones, and you can swap in other low-carb berries the same way.
- For a richer smoothie, use heavy whipping cream in place of the almond milk.
- Only add ice if your blender can handle it. A weak blender leaves ice chunks instead of a smooth, thick drink.

Hello!
Excited to try your recipe for my son’s medical diet! Could you help me out with some brands of Greek yogurt that are both plain and sugar free. I’ve been trying to look some up and it seems all I find is one or the other, not both (sugar free AND plain).
Plain Greek yogurt SHOULD be sugar-free, in fact, the only ingredient should be: Strained Yogurt or cultured milk. There’s inherently some natural sugars in milk, but very very little. That being said, no-sugar added brands include: Chobani – Plain Greek yogurt; Fage plain; and Dannon. Depending on where you live, your store should carry these national brands. You may find store brands as well, to be no-sugar added. Good luck! ~Jenn
