Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons cooked bacon chopped
  • 1 tablespoon green onion
  • 2 tablespoons cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Whip the eggs and cream. Add a touch of salt and pepper if you like, but I found the cheese and bacon gave them plenty of salt.
  • Fill the Dash Egg Bites cups 3/4 full with the egg mixture.
  • Divide the bacon, onion, and cheese, between the cups, careful not to overfill.
  • Top up with the remaining custard.
  • Bake in Dash Egg Bite Maker for about 7 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Recipe Card Tips

  • Don't skip the cream. About a tablespoon per egg is what keeps these soft and custardy instead of dense.
  • Add the egg custard to the cups before the fillings, not after. It keeps everything from sticking to the silicone molds.
  • Check for doneness with a knife rather than a fixed timer. Cook time varies with how full the cups are and how cold the ingredients started.
