- 1 lb ground beef lean
- 1 cup carrot sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup yellow onion sliced thinly
- 1 clove garlic minced fine
- 1 tbsp ginger minced fine
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 2 tbsp So Nourished brown sugar substitute
- 2 green onions sliced (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds optional
Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Drain the fat and discard, and remove the beef and set aside.
Heat the sesame oil over medium high heat and add the carrot, ginger, onions, and garlic. Sautee for about 3 minutes or until the onions are soft and the carrots are tender-crisp.
Add the drained beef back to the pan and mix well with the veggies.
Add the coconut aminos (or soy sauce) and So Nourished brown sugar substitute and mix well. Heat over medium heat.
Season with salt if needed and serve with chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top. Enjoy!
