Ingredients

  • 1 pound radishes cleaned and quartered
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Pan fry the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Set the bacon aside, leaving the fat in the pan.
  • Add the butter and radishes to the skillet and saute the radishes until they're tender and golden brown in places - about 8-10 minutes.
  • Add the bacon back to the skillet, top with chopped parsley, adjust the seasoning, and serve!

Notes

Chef Jenn's Tips

  • Don't overcook the radishes - they should be fork-tender. If you like them with a bit of crunch, that's OK.
  • Crumbled bacon is so good - don't forget to add it back to the radishes!
  • Jazz up the flavor even more with a bit of onion and garlic - but don't forget to add the carbs.
